Direction and Distance
In this test, the questions consist of a sort of direction puzzle. A
successive follow up of direction is formulated and the candidate is required
to ascertain the final direction or the distance between two points. The test
is meant to judge the candidate's ability to trace, follow and sense the
direction correctly.

The figure shows the four main directions (North N, South S, East E,
West W) and the four cardinals (North East NE, North West NW, South East SE,
South West SW) to help the candidates to know the directions.
To solve such problems it is necessary to make sketches on paper as per
the direction of the questions. Generally to confuse the candidates the left or
right turns are provided in the direction (question). Here it is necessary to
understand that on the surface of the paper, clock wise direction is the right
and anticlockwise direction is the left.
